This is a remote teller assisted operation. The customer can always be guided by the remote teller agent.
If the customer is asking for it, the remote teller can even “push” or “tap” the necessary virtual buttons.
The video teller can see what the customer is seeing, it is co-browsing. This means that the video teller is aware of every step and action performed by the customer and can jump in with hints if necessary. This is giving the customer a feeling of being safe and not dealing with a machine only. If there is rising any doubt or question the customer can ask the remote teller live and directly.
The process of account opening is the same experience as if the customer would talk to a teller being physically present in the branch.
Depending on the regulations and type of banking card the customer can walk away with his card delivered instantly after the account opening process has been terminated successfully.
